Welcome to Joe Beans Barkery! We are an honest to dog coffee shop and scratch pet bakery that features locally and conscientiously sourced ingredients, veterinarian approved recipes, and love in every bite. We want our dogs to have only the best, so we baked it ourselves and now we'd like to share it with your pups too! Whether you stop by for a cup of coffee and a pupcake, or you order from our online store, our treats are baked fresh to order.
Amanda and Joe
Joe Joe was a Pomeranian, but he was so much more than that. Joe was a companion and a confidant. He was nine pounds of loyalty and love and fluff. Joe made the world a happier, sweeter place with his joyful presence. Amanda is a multi-award winning Master Sugar Artist and former Head Decorator at Pastry and More in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. But most of all, Amanda is a dog lover, Pomeranian owner, and mom of creatures human, canine, and feline. When she isn’t baking and decorating, Amanda plays and coaches roller derby and enjoys life with her boys, Connor and Cooper.
Suzy and Nezzie Beans
Nezzie Beans was a Beagle, but she was so much more than that. She was a friend and a compatriot. She was welcoming howls and encouraging snuggles. Nezzie made the world around her a kinder and more open place. Suzy is a foodie, caffeine connoisseur, and all-around incredible human. But most importantly, Suzy is a dog lover and beagle owner. Suzy has rescued nine beagles so far, but there's always room for one more. Amanda says that Suzy rescued her too. When she isn't rescuing dogs and generally being awesome, Suzy creates beautiful fiber art and enjoys life with her four beagles.
